Tertön Sogyal Foundation US Board

Pedro Beroy has been a Rigpa student for the last 24 years. He is currently a partner at AP Structured. Pedro was a Managing Director in New York, a member of the Fixed Income Operating Committee, global head of the Longevity Markets Group and prior to that role, head of Latin America Structuring and Coverage Group. He is the president of the Tertön Sogyal Foundation (US), a member of Rigpa’s International Steering Group and of Lerab Ling’s Advisory Group. 

Michèle Phamtan is a Rigpa student since 1991. She graduated from the leading French business school, H.E.C., in 1990, followed by a post graduate degree in macroeconomics. Michèle worked as a consultant for various international organisations, including the World Bank and the European Commission, on poverty reduction, public finance reforms and third world debt reduction. She became Finance Director of Rigpa Lerab Ling in 2006 and board member until 2020. From 2007 to 2018 she was Rigpa International’s Finance Director.

Dan Schuessler – Dan has 30 years of experience in the investment industry. He began his career in 1991 as a mortgage backed securities portfolio manager and trader.  Since 2012 Dan has been an independent investor. He is a member of the Investment Committee. Dan is based in San Francisco.

Suzannah Zuckerman Yardas – As a somatic and energetic practitioner, Zanna’s life goals are to foster a world where people naturally partner with and support each other in accessing the vibrant health and growth potential that we each possess. As we aim towards our potential together, we become the strongest and best versions of ourselves. Our world needs this now more than ever before. Zanna is honored to be a practitioner who has devoted her passions, skills, time, and creativity to supporting the optimal wellness of the planet and her inhabitants.

In 2021, the Tertön Sogyal Foundations and Rigpa started disbursing grants funded by donations and by investments.

Since then, Study and Practice Grants have supported many Rigpa students to take part in retreats, Shedra courses and practice training. Light of Dharma Grants have supported the development of numerous innovative projects including the new Rigpa Curriculum, online courses and the collation and preservation of teachings.
